Advent. Day 14 of 24
With this week of Advent being ‘Joy’ week, and after yesterday’s ‘rantier than usual’ post, I thought I’d be more joyful today.
The candle we light for the 3rd week is pink, meant to be a combination of the purple of Advent and the white of Christmas. It’s an ‘in-between’ colour. This week, also known as gaudette week, is meant to give us a little respite during the Advent season while we gear up for that last week of intense waiting for the big day.
Plus, my most wonderful spiritual director reminded me that focusing on joy this week was a good thing. She’s so awesome.
So today, i will choose JOY
Come Lord Jesus.
Come quickly.
